I’m Morgan. First name, Bee – but I’ll answer to most things.
There I am.
In 2012, I went to University in Brighton to study English Language and Linguistics and discovered it wasn’t for me. Since leaving, I spent an awful lot of time floating around the pet shop that I’d been working at for nine years and trying to establish what it is I want to do with my life – all at the same time as learning How To Be A Fully Functioning Adult and discover who it is that I actually am growing up to be. In that time, I thought I’d give dog grooming a bash, and was incredibly lucky to discover that there was nothing else I would rather be paid to do. Sadly, my dream career was cut short when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in April 2017 and forced to hang up my scissors. Since then, I’ve been trying to raise awareness for the condition and others like it – and that’s where you find the Morganifesto you see today. After starting this blog somewhere around 2009, I’ve re-released and re-branded countless times, until I was left with this – my own little corner of the internet for me to wax lyrical about things that happen to me. I’d like to think I don’t fall into a specific category, but you can expect anything from lifestyle, beauty and relationships, right the way through to coffee, mental health and absolute garbage.
Aside from that, I’m 5″5′ and I like tattoos, possums, good coffee, dinosaurs and musical theatre. I collect different types of tea, I’m never satisfied with the length or colour of my hair, I pretty much always have heartburn and my most used phrase is “ugh I have such a dry mouth”. I’m very much in love with a barista called Clark, who keeps me sane and caffeinated, and we’re very excited to have moved to Winchester to start our lives together.
In April 2018, we welcomed a new addition – a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy called Otto. He’ll grow up to be a therapy dog for me, and hopefully also many others who need a little joy in their lives!
Thanks for dropping by, and we look forward to having you back again soon!
